A videodisc is a form of laser-readable media that plays back audio and video stored upon it. The current forms of videodisc being used today is the Digital Video Disc (DVD) and the Blu-ray Disc.

In the Left Behind books, there was a form of videodisc that existed that could record audio and video onto the disc for future playback, which was used by both the Tribulation Force and the Global Community. This could possibly be the recordable form of the DVD or Blu-ray.

In current releases of the adult Left Behind books, the DVD replaces the VCR tape as the means of which Vernon Billings' message for those left behind is recorded and distributed.
