[edit] The New Look

I'm not going to be able to keep that new look that I gave the wiki because it was full of errors and it had text colors that were not clearly visible. I do want to give the wiki a fresh look, but I'm unable to do so yet. Are you familar with CSS for the Wikia wikis? If you are, maybe you could help me.

[edit] RE: Fave Icon

Hey ZEM!

To make the favicons, all I do is find or make the image I want to use as as the favicon (I use Microsoft Paint or GIMP to edit them). Don't worry about the size at all, it will get fixed later. I then go to a free favicon generator at http://www.graphicsguru.com/favicon.php and upload it there and click on Generate. It will then redirect me to a new page where my new favicon is. It will show you a preview of your favicon along with a link to download the favicon. Click on the link and click save on the dialogue box that appears (assuming that you're using Internet Explorer instead of Firebox). A save dialogue will appear, so save it where you are going to find it later.

If you are going to use the favicons on Wikia wikis, upload the favicon file you saved as you would a regular image, but make sure the filename when you upload it is Favicon.ico. I'm no help with anything other than Wikia, but you should be able to figure it out.

Hi ZEM,

I am very deeply sorry to announce that I resign from being re-founder of this wiki. I am just too busy with other things and I'm working to become a Wikia Helper and I'm building a wiki of my own from scratch, and I just can't keep trying to build this wiki up anymore if nobody even visits anymore. I am giving you full rights to manage this wiki. You seem pretty good with wikis and I trust you with it especially on how you have built a nice wiki with your brother and you are an admin on many other wikis, so I belive you should know what to do.

I really don't want to do this, especially since I made all of those promises about what I want to do around here this year. If you do accept to become full admin of this, wiki I'll show you how I planned to do some of tings on the Coming in 2009 list.

Now please keep in touch with me so I know how this wiki is doing and if you do or don't accept becoming the admin. The best way to contact me is on my new talk page or by emailing me.

I'm working on an encyclopedia wiki for all literature. It's called BiblioWiki and is at http://bibliowiki.referata.com. I haven't done much to it yet, but it's (very, very) slowly coming along. If you want to help out there, you can. You'll just have to create an account there, because it's not a part of Wikia. I'm called Jewntansoath there, too.

P.P.S. I almost have everything done to make you be admin.

BiblioWiki is going to be more cool once I finish a bunch more work on it. I think a Left Behind: The Kids article is needed here, too. It would be cool if you can write one for both wikis and one for each book as you finish it. I'm going to make a bunch of different portals on BiblioWiki like on Wikipedia, so I'll probably make a bunch for Left Behind too.

I read the first twenty LBK books, and I'm planning to read the rest. I actully starting reading the Left Behind books with those. They're cool, but they don't exactly go along with the regular series. The characters do meet Bruce Barnes and Buck Williams and stuff, but it focuses more on the main four characters. Anyways, I left you a welcome note on your talk page on BW. That'll be great if you'll help me out there too. I forgot to tell you one last thing. How I was raising the article count here is by creating pages listed on the Wanted Pages list. It is a list of all of the articles of the wiki that have links pointing to them, but the pages don't exist. I did see your new articles. Thanks for those. I almost forgot about what I wanted to tell you: The free dramatic audio that I promised in the coming in 2009 list is still getting worked on and should be up and going soon, so you shouldn't have to worry about that. The main page and logo from the list is already done. Umm...I'm trying to get help with the new process for creating articles from other wikians, so we'll get that done. The new WYSIWYG editor for the wiki is getting worked on by Wikia, and it will be coming to all wikis soon, so we should be getting one soon. If you want to see it, the Wikia Entertainment Hub already uses the new editor, so you can try it out there. For instructions for being an admin here, there is an Administrators' how-to guide that I got when I was admin for the first time, over at another wiki. Please try to advoid the common mistakes as an admin. I found a page about attracting contributors today, too, which might help us. If you think you've messed something up (which you chouldn't, but it has happened before), I have full admin powers here, too, so I can help you. I just found out that I have been rejected to become a wikia helper. It seems like I was too slow, but it took three weeks before the guy I was working with finaly gave me an answer on if I was accepted or not. I had a few questions and I asked him, but he never answered them and now someone else took the job. Actually, I forgot to tell you, but there is another chance for me. Thanks for the updates! I'm glad that you have been accepted to have a spotlight on a different wiki. Once I'm accepted to be a Helper I can help chose wikis to be spotlighted. (I wonder if I'll be able to accept this one. That would be cool.) I've been working on BiblioWiki more today, while I'm waiting on a response. I've cleaned up and categorized your Railway series articles there, and I've redone the main page. I'm trying to figure out how I could do portals, but I don't have any ideas. I'm bored, so if you want I can archive your talk page. It's getting full of my messages. (I talk too much)

(the Happy New Year banner on the frontpage is also a bit old). Could you make it shorter and more relevant, or remove it altogether? Hi ZEM...I've started work on the main page, and I think it looks a little better. I removed some of the old stuff, and put the announcements in the sitenotice. You can still edit the announcements with the announce template. Soon I'll begin to change the colors to match the black skin I did (and am so proud of actully doing myself, as I have no skills with that stuff :-D). Most of everything content-wise for the main page should be accessible and editable through the templates, and I based it off of what I have for ChristWiki.
