Ty Spivey is the son of Mountain Militia leader Cyrus Spivey, and older brother to Young Tribulation Force member Tanya Spivey. He was not a Christian at the time of the Rapture, resulting in being left behind.

After the Rapture[]
After the Rapture, he did believe Christ was real, but he had a wrong interpretation. He believed that Christ, instead of coming in seven years, would come sooner. Later on, Vicki Byrne comes to his underground home and tells his family that Christ wasn't coming until three more years... Not three more days.
When Ty believed what Vicki was saying, Cyrus became violent and outraged. After Cyrus's death, Ty would go on to survive to the Glorious Appearing.
