The Internet (also formerly known as the World Wide Web) is a network system of computers that allow its users to communicate with each other through an online service. It is also a repository of information which includes all forms of media such as music, videos, and games.
In the Left Behind series, the Internet becomes a primary means of communication for the members of the Tribulation Force to reach out to people around the world with access to computers so that they can come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior during the time of the Tribulation. Although Nicolae Carpathia through the Global Community has made accessing information related to biblical Christianity (which included websites such as that of Dr. Tsion Ben-Judah and Buck Williams' The Truth) to be a crime, even people who were once loyal to Carpathia found themselves searching for answers related to the Bible online. During the Millennial Kingdom, the Internet becomes a primary means of communication for The Other Light when they reach out to people born during the Millennium to become followers of their religion before the final confrontation with God and Jesus Christ at the period's end.
