A homosexual is a person who is attracted to a member of the same sex. Christians believe the Bible considers this to be an abomination to God, as the verses Leviticus 18:22 and 1st Corinthians 6:9-10 point out.
Some Bible eschatology students believe that the forthcoming Antichrist will be homosexual due to their interpretation of the King James Version rendering of Daniel 11:37, a verse commonly used as one referring to the Antichrist:
- Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.
However, though the Antichrist character Nicolae Carpathia does have a sexual relationship with Hattie Durham outside of marriage which only lasts for about 21 months from the beginning of the Tribulation, it is unknown what other kinds of relationships of a sexual nature he had with anyone else, including any possible homosexual ones.
In the Left Behind books, there are three homosexual characters: Sorin Carpathia and Baduna Marius, Nicolae's fathers, and Verna Zee. Unfortunately, all three characters met terrible fates -- Sorin and Baduna were both murdered, and Verna perished in the Wrath Of The Lamb earthquake.
