In "Tribulation Force", Dr. Tsion Ben-Judah used Scripture from Daniel to argue the case of how the prophesied Messiah should appear, leading up to the revelation of Jesus Christ being that Messiah. The Scripture verses in question was Daniel 9:24-26, arguing for the case that the Messiah showed up exactly 483 years (the first "69 weeks" in the "70 weeks" prophecy) after the call to rebuild Jerusalem at the time the prophecy was recorded.
- Daniel 9:27 speaks about the "70th week" where "the prince that shall come" from verse 26 will confirm a covenant with many for "one week", but in the middle of that week he shall cause sacrifices and offerings to cease, and there will be an abomination that causes desolation (also mentioned elsewhere in the book). This "70th week" turns out to be the Tribulation period of the Left Behind series, and the covenant confirmed was the seven-year agreement between the Global Community and Israel regarding the licensed use of Chaim Rosenzweig's synthetic fertilizer formula.
- Daniel 12:11-12 speaks of the "1290 days" and the "1335 days" that follow when the abomination of desolation is set up.
