Abdullah "Smith" Ababneh was a Jordanian Air Force pilot who became a believer and a member of the Tribulation Force. His wife and two children became believers prior to the Rapture. He worked for Nicolae Carpathia as one of his pilots in New Babylon before he escaped with Mac McCullum, David Hassid, and Hannah Palemoon after Carpathia's death and resurrection. During the Millennial Kingdom period, Abdullah became a chaplain for the Theological Training Institute, which was a front for The Other Light activities, and befriended Sarsour, one of its members, convincing him to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.
